I went along to the BAFTA Games Social in Sheffield yesterday! It was held at the National Video Game Museum in Sheffield.
You can catch a cheeky cameo of my rather chonky legs in the reflection here 😂😅 The way my right leg in particular appears in the glass reminds me of the digitigrade knee joints the Sangheili in the Halo have. Sci-fi body goals!
The event was great - it featured a talk focused on the many pracitcal/ethical/legal issues surrounding game preservation in today’s (pretty much entirely) digital landscape.
It was lovely to meet new folks & catch up with some familiar friendly faces there too!
